Okay, I am going to run a very small contest. I have come into possession of a standard copy of "Rift", which includes 30-days free playtime (cannot be added to an active account, this is for a new game account). This is a digital download only, and does not include the "Storm Legion" expansion. Just saying.
Anyway, what is this contest, then? It's a Poetry Slam. Yes, poetry.
What you'll need to do is write up a poem (the form doesn't matter, you can do a standard poem, a haiku, even a limerick if you like) that has to do with video games, preferably MMORPGs, and even moreso preferably about "Rift" itself. Post that poem as a comment on this thread, and make sure you leave a good email address, so I'll be able to send you the code if you win. I will decide which poem wins, and there will be only one winner, period. There is no monetary value to the prize, and it cannot be exchanged, as there is only one prize. Please note: This code is for a North American copy of the game, so I suspect it will not work for other regions (EU, Korea, etc). If your jurisdiction frowns on contests, I got this code for free, and consider it my giving it a good home, rather than tossing it away, so call it a gift if you prefer. There is no monetary value, and thus no taxes should apply.

UPDATE: This contest (if we can call it that with no entries) is now closed. I'd thank all those who submitted entries, but I'd be thanking no one, which would make me look like a crazy person. Then again, maybe I was a crazy person to think I should offer up a contest in the first place?
